Durga Pujo 2020

2020 has been an unusual year in many ways. The weekend parties are on a hiatus and Zoom has replaced our living rooms for adda. From toilet paper shortage to wildfire smoke overdose, we have endured the unexpected and persevered.

But some things remain unchanged. Chief among them is the excitement with which the Prabashi community greets our most important event of the year – Durga Pujo or “Durgotsab”.   And lo! Once again, it’s time to dust off the Dhanuchis, pull out those sarees, and iron those Panjabis ! Pujor gondho is in the air and Maa Durga is on her way! In keeping with past years, Durgotsab will still span two days – Friday 23rd October 2020 & Saturday 24th October 2020.
