PRABASHI MEMBERSHIP

• Membership is open to all with residential address within states of Oregon and Clark County Washington, upon payment of membership fees. Members will also be required to fill in the Prabashi Registration Form at the time of registration.

•  While membership is open year round, most of our new members sign up during the Durga Puja celebrations.  This is also the time when continuing members renew their membership.

• Each member registered with Prabashi must be 18 years or older and will have voting rights for Elections or issues that are nominated for voting at the General Body Meetings.

• Members are encouraged to volunteer for event management committees for events/functions organized by Prabashi.  Those interested, please contact the Prabashi Council.

• Members are also encouraged to keep their contact information updated with the Prabashi Council

• Membership fees are non-refundable and collected on an annual basis.  Members may cancel their membership by providing a written notice to the council. The cancellation will take effect within five working days after the council receives the letter.

• Prabashi respects the privacy right of its members. Members may choose to suppress any personal information from Prabashi Publications .  To exercise this right, please indicate your preference in the membership form.

• Prabashi will not be held responsible for any activity resulting in loss or damage of property, injuries and death to other people caused by a member or members during events hosted by Prabashi.

• Prabashi will not recognize any functions or events conducted by members without the prior approval of the Prabashi Council.

• All Prabashi members must abide by the laws of incorporation governing the charter of Prabashi.
